StumpJumper Lures were born on the banks of the mighty Murray River in 1986. The first wooden StumpJumper Lure suited the local cod fishing environment perfectly. They dig down deep, have great buoyancy to jump over stumps (hence the name) and are as tough as nails. In 1991, the freshwater fishing industry boomed and there was a huge demand for cod lures. The original wooden bodies were changed to plastic, which means we are able to have an interchangeable bib system.
StumpJumper lures have a patented snap-lock bib that lets you alter the lures action and characteristics by changing the bibs. With a choice of hot colours, metallic finishes and subtle patterns, you can change the colours of the bibs to get the attention of the fish.
